Are you wondering about the gratitude journal?
It’s still going on for May, but I’ve decided to finish it out as one long all-inclusive post that I’ll share at the end of the month. Know that I’m so grateful every day for all of you that take the time to read my posts!!!
You know I can’t end this without imparting a little knowledge or throwing at least one deep thought into the universe…
Today has not been the best day for me as far as inspirational writing goes though.
I’m just not feelin’ it.
With the giveaways this week, I’ve been thinking a lot about what really makes any of us a “winner.” Aside from athletic competitions, have you ever felt like a winner?
What even qualifies as a trait or event that makes a particular person into a winner?
Winning a prize makes it easy to call yourself a “winner,” right? If that’s the case, then I’ve been quite the winner as of late! I actually won 3-4 contests in the past month or so and have really enjoyed the arrivals of all of these neat packages. It’s good stuff, people!!!
Do I feel like a winner?
Nope. Not usually. I feel more like someone wanting to be a winner but not really knowing what it would take for me to qualify as the winner I want to be.
I know, I know. That was kinda confusing.
How do you define winning in your own life?
Does it have to do with a job or relationships or family or health? Or, does it just have to do with being grateful for the good stuff in your life?
Tell me what winning is for you.
Subscribe to my newsletter and benefit from all of the wonderful things coming our way!

Winning for me is when I have served other people properly. It can be so hard to not get consumed by what I want to do and instead give my time and energy to others. When I do finally give up that time I feel like a million bucks.

It is definitely easy to get wrapped up in our own things. When I put my time and energy into my girls, I feel like a million bucks also!

Must you ask these questions? L o l!
Winning changes daily for me. I guess my overall life win is having good relationships and people to love.
Some days winning is just getting out of bed or keeping food off my front!!!
Starr W says
Getting out of bed some days is definitely winning!

Congrats to the winners.
As for when do I feel like a winner, that depends on the the day. Some days I feel super accomplished if I can just make it through the day without the kids arguing or whatever. Other days it will be a business accomplishment. Life is full of small wins. We are all winners in some shape or form.
Starr W says
I love your attitude about winning! We ARE all winners in some shape or form, and sometimes we just need to find those wins in our daily life.

Winning for me is learning something in the process. Losing can be winning when I learn something out of losing.
Starr W says
I love that you talk about losing can be winning when it comes with a lesson! I’m trying to recognize “failure” as just a step in the process, so I totally get that losing can be winning.
Julie says
Winning for me is when I eat clean, get a workout in, and get the kiddo to school on time!

Congratulations Jill, Amanda, Katrina and Amber!
